Travel to the NTT Project
1.	Fly to Narita airport, go through passport control, pick up
baggage and exit through customs.
2.	There are 2 doors to exit customs, if you exit to the arrival
hall through the left door, the escalator down to the Narita Express
train will be on your right ( if right door then it will be to your
left)
3.	You will want to take the express train to Shinjuku station, at
Shinjuku you will transfer to the Chuo line(see below) and go to the
Mitaka ( pronounced Me-ta-ka)Station. If your ticket seller speaks
English, tell him your total plan so the ticket is correct to Mitaka.
If he doesn't, just tell him the express to Shinjuku. ( Note, I have
not taken the express and then transferred to another line so I do not
know if there is an extra charge to go to Mitaka. Even if there is an
extra charge, you can get to Mitaka with the Shinjuku ticket and just
pay the extra charge at exiting Mitaka.
4.	You will arrive at Shinjuku on tracks 3 or 4. You want to go to
the Chuo line on track 10. If you go up an escalator (or stairs with an
escalator alongside) at the top, go left to the track 10 stairs and then
down to the platform. (There are other stairs to exit Tracks 3&4, if
you use them your goal is still track 10 but the above directions do not
apply.)
5.	The Chuo line is a reddish orange color. Stopping at track 10
will be trains for many end stations, that doesn't matter, they all go
through Mitaka. They come in two speeds, regular rapid in which case
Mitaka is the 7th stop and the trip takes 17 minutes, or special rapid
in which case Mitaka is the 2nd stop and the trip takes 14 minutes.
6.	At the Mitaka station you go up stairs ( or escalator) and
follow the crowd to the ticket taking machines. Exit the machines and
turn right then go straight ahead and down to exit the station.
7.	As you exit the station, the street almost straight ahead is
your goal but there is a traffic circle between you and it. Veer 50
feet to the right to the crossings then correct to the straight ahead
street and walk down it. The Roynet Hotel is ahead on the right hand
side of the street about 3 American sized blocks. Without a luggage
handicap, it is a five minute walk. The street you are on will meet up
with another when it will bend about 30 degrees to the right. At that
point you have about 1 block to go.
8.	The Roynet has a sign, also there is a sign for the Sizzler
Restaurant. The hotel lobby is on the 2nd floor. When you sign in,
remember to join the Roynet Club.
